This is a hand painted square silk scarf using acid based dyes which are steam fixed making it fast to light and washing. The design is drawn on with gutta a mixture of paraffin wax and rubber cement and acts as a barrier to the dyes. Size: 90 x 90 cm Care: scarves should be hand washed in warm water separately is best and a warm to hot iron whilst still damp.
