Traminer grapes are handpicked, destemmed and macerated with skins for 8 10 days, then pressed and transported to old barriques after the fermentation finishes to rest for for 6 8 months. The nose on this is amazingly expressive a Traminer bouquet of roses, nutmeg and very ripe fruit and it's smooth and fresh on the palate, with nice acidity, pithy tannins
