Orvis 1874 Reproduction Reel 7’5” For sale here is aA 1990's reproduction of the rare C. F. Orvis 1874 Trout Reel, 2 7 8" diameter. The bias feels neutral to me. Ventilated narrow spool design, paying homage to the originals from the 19th century. The reel is marked "C. F. Orvis Maker, Patented Manchester, VT" on the backplate around the spindle nut. The reel appears unfished. It comes in a walnut box with a section for the detachable handle.
