The negatives are as follows: as with many Paynes of this vintage the varnish has bag imprints in areas and there are no ferrule plugs and no plug for the bottom of the reelseat when the fighting butt is not in use

The Salmon model, 3 1 2" diameter with bolstered stainless steel pillars. Spool width is 7 8". Weight of the reel is 9. 75 oz. Right hand retrieve. Superficial use marks but overall the reel is in excellent condition, both cosmetically and mechanically. Comes with an extra drag tension knob. The reel is housed in a beautiful Arne Mason leather reel case.
