It is such a wonderful and profound moment, the union of Heaven and Earth. Even a shop with just Annunciations by the artist Mikhail Nesterov. He was a symbolist painter of the turn of the last century. He did mostly religious subjects, and he clearly had a deep heart for Mary and especially this moment.
