This cuve is aged for longer in used barrels, then held back for an additional year before release. Bertrand calls this a particularly fragile parcel in the Grand Pr vineyard, with very acidic and sandy soils. Something of the flagship wine at the Bertrands. Semi carbonic ferment, 7 9 months in old barrel, no SO2 added.
