Description

The year 1965 and "Japan" are carved on the bottom

And I believe it is postmarked 1911

who signed the piece in the upper left corner

the only flaws seem to be the irregularities in the glaze that are original to the piece

Exuberant, Presumably Kid Made Ceramic Flowers - A Bouquet black leather handmade mask The year 1965 and "Japan"I'd think a child made these, perhaps in school or at summer camp, maybe even as a Mother's Day present, though I have a hard time imagining a mother who would ever part with these! I just can't resist things like this that feel so invested with love and effort right down to perching a little brown bee (I think it is) on the petals of the big green flower. Arrange them in a vase, or set them on shelves, or use as paperweights, or gift them
