It matches in every way other pieces attributed to him

There is an additional hinged mat (which I have folded back to photograph the drawing) that lies over the front of the drawing (easily removed) with plastic to protect it (shown in last photo)

it seems there were a whole series of these made for export in the earlyish 20th century featuring an array of different dogs as well as other animals

This one is by Don Curreri (1930 2014), a well known Woburn, MA based potter and ceramic sculptor. Showing a strong Japanese influence, it has an irregularly faceted form and interesting surface showing a
