One of the more scarce British reels patented by John Moscrop in 1888 and again in 1891, Moscrop's fellow Manchester Angling Society members dubbed it the "Manchester Reel". It's a one piece frame construction and the whole reel is made of brass. It has a horn handle and is marked on backplate "J. B. Moscrop's Patent, Manchester" and on the bottom of the
