Four Hearts, Feb 1876 Iowa Cut Paper Love Token in Period Gold Leafed Frame old jugtown pottery which I purchased on aSpare and lovely. The cut paper form, which I'd call a love token, with four scallop edges hearts each facing toward the center, was cut from an Iowa paper flier dated Feb 23, 1876. Mounted to what looks to be to be a newer (clean and crisp) ribbed black mat, in an antique gold leaf over gesso wooden frame. 10 3 4" x 8 3 4" frame. Cut paper 4 1 4" x 4 1 2". All in very good condition, reads bright and crisp, with general wear around the edges of the
