I just thought the hinged design was brilliant

21 1/4" x 8 3/4" and in good condition

Perhaps there is nothing as beautiful as a yellow pencil with a very sharp point--formally

Pair of Old Signal Flags on Posts, Presumed WW 2 fly swatter I just thought the hingedI are pretty sure these are WW era nautical signal flags, though I find identifying flags and their functions a bit confusing! I presume the white cross on red represents Denmark; the white stripes perhaps simply peace ceasefire, though I'm not completely certain. Whatever the case, I think old flags like these are quite satisfying things to have around, and these two together make for a beauty of a combo. It also seems we may need to be signaling new
