Funky Abstract Hand-painted Ceramic Plate Signed Monk - Larger of Two green frog pitcher which read "Patented 1889I don't know much about this huge decorative stoneware plate, which is the larger of two I purchased at a nearby consignment store, but I think it is fabulous. The hand painted design really a drawing on clay reminds me of a map with shape shifting land masses, and I think the polka dot and striped patterns, rendered in purple, peach, and charcoal, are pretty terrific too, The platter measures 15" in diameter and 1 1 4" tall, and is signed Monk on the
