Pennsylvania Child's Sampler with Letters Facing Every Way 19th century drawings and feel like I knowI'm a sucker for a super naive antique sampler, and really really love the combination of very naive and very aspirational; no small thing to attempt letters as fancy as many of these and, really, even more of a feat to manage a whole stretch of them backwards! I know from the seller I purchased this from that it came from Pennsylvania, c. mid 19th century I believe. The ground is very loosely woven, with unfinished edges but the embroidered borders
