during the height of real photo postcard popularity when it was common to have postcards made using ones own photos

Roberts, c. 1918 and there is another showcasing Roman ornament, listed separately. I do think it transcends it existence as a class assignment largely because the ornament itself is so good, and a vehicle for the use of lots of gold! Really fun to look at and fun to have around! 12" x 18". Very good condition, with some wear to the top and bottom left corners.
